The heroine, a young FBI agent named Melissa Todd, has been charged with stopping the planned destruction. Her desperate use of a publicity-shy psychic, who wants nothing to do with the case, sets off repercussions throughout the FBI and the NYC police hierarchy.

We wanted the challenge to be in the pursuit of what the terrorists had set in motion, and not the normal good guy chasing the bad guy.
